You have to appear as a good catch to prospective employers in order to get their attention by preparing your credentials.  Have a flawless, complete and updated resume in a folder together with other relevant documents and papers , for instance with nurses;  a nursing license, BCLS/ACLS card and proof of pertinent certifications. Also bring copies of certificates from any advanced training programs you have attended and completed; current copies of reference list and up to date clinical skills checklist.  Aside from that, prepare and practice your answers to some common specific or general job interview questions.  These tips will help you in providing positive, concise and to –the-point answers. Make A Positive Impression

Dress to impress. Put on the right and professionally-looking clothes. It is equally important to arrive at the interview location ahead of time to prepare yourself for any unseen obstacles that may arise.  Arriving early during interviews will allow you to review your notes and to better prepare yourself for the interview.           After the interview, the interviewer will give you an idea as to when the decision will be made and if you haven’t heard anything after a reasonable period of time, and the decision date is looming, you can call to convey your continued interest. Your persistence demonstrates your genuine interest for the job.
